Google Ads for dentists · Paid search

What does a Google Ads campaign actually need to do for a dental practice?

This is a new category for BoostOps. BoostOps' published client work is with plumbers, mechanics, garages, MOT stations, and bodyshops. We do not have dental practice clients, and there are no dental case studies on this site.

One buyer, one campaign

One campaign cannot cover every treatment

Implants, Invisalign, and emergency dentistry are different buyers, with different urgency. A routine check-up is different again.

A considered treatment

Implants and Invisalign are examples of a patient comparing a few practices over days. The ad and the landing page need the scope of the treatment and what happens next. Emergency language on that search is a mismatch.

An urgent appointment

Emergency dentistry is a patient who wants a phone number and whether you can see them today. A long page about a cosmetic treatment does not match that search. It needs its own campaign, its own ads, and its own page.

One campaign and one generic landing page for both means the account is optimised for neither. Research-only searches, such as how to become a dentist, and treatments the practice does not offer, should be blocked so the budget stays on people who can book. Dental implants, Invisalign, and emergency dentistry are examples of how patients search. They are not a list of treatments we claim our clients offer. The organic side, a profile and pages for those treatments, is on SEO for dentists. This page does not repeat that work.

Where the ads show

A tight radius, not a national reach

Hyper-local for a dental practice means the distance a patient will travel, set in the campaign.

A distance a patient will travel

Someone booking an implant consultation, or looking for an emergency appointment, chooses a practice they can get to. A campaign aimed at the whole of the UK pays for clicks from people who will not make that journey.

A tight radius around the practice

About 5 to 10 miles around the practice is the plain setting for this. Show the ads where a patient would actually come in. A wider radius buys reach. It does not buy appointments.

Hayes, Southall, and Hounslow are areas we name because BoostOps is based in Hayes and works nearby. We are not claiming a dental client in any of them. The radius is a setting. It does not promise how many patients will call.

Speed to lead

Answer quickly, and count the real enquiry

Patients compare more than one practice. The report has to show which campaign and which page produced the enquiry.

Answer while they are still comparing

A patient often contacts more than one practice. The enquiry goes to whoever replies while they are still deciding. A slow reply loses that conversation.

Phone and form, counted separately

An emergency search is often a tap on the phone number. A considered treatment is more often a form. Each path needs its own conversion action, so the report shows real enquiries, not only form submits.

Each enquiry records the landing page it came from, and the ad group behind it when the page was built for one. That is the same lead attribution described on how we structure Google Ads. It is not a lead count from a dental client. BoostOps' published client work is with plumbers, mechanics, garages, MOT stations, and bodyshops. We do not have dental practice clients, and there are no dental case studies on this site.

Where we work

West London base, London clients

Local proof, not a borough keyword page. BoostOps is registered in Hayes and works with trade businesses across West London.

Our registered address is in Hayes, West London. We build websites, local SEO, and paid search for independent trades, including the plumber website and local SEO work on our plumbers page, for businesses operating across Hayes, Southall, and Hounslow and nearby areas.

Who appears for a dental search in the map results depends on that practice's Google Business Profile, reviews, and pages. BoostOps does not have dental practice clients in Hayes, Southall, Hounslow, or elsewhere. Paid ads on this page are a separate job from map placement, and this page does not control map results.

FAQ

Questions about Google Ads for dentists

Is $10 a day enough for Google Ads?+

On its own, a single day's spend does not tell you much either way. Google's own guidance is to judge a campaign over a complete reporting window, because conversions can be reported up to 90 days after the click, and a short window will always look worse than it is. This is about how Google reports results. It is not a dentist-specific budget, and it is not a figure we are recommending.

How do dentists advertise?+

Two different jobs. Paid Google Ads, which this page covers, means separate campaigns for treatments with different urgency, a tight radius around the practice, and tracking on the phone and the form. Organic search, the Google Business Profile and pages for the treatments and areas a practice covers, is on our SEO for dentists page at /seo-for-dentists. BoostOps' published client work is with plumbers, mechanics, garages, MOT stations, and bodyshops. We do not have dental practice clients, and there are no dental case studies on this site.

How much should I budget?+

We do not publish a recommended ad spend. The media budget sits in the practice's own Google Ads account and varies with the area and the treatments. Google Ads management starts £300 per month. Typical starting point for managed Google Ads. May vary with account size, ad spend, and number of services or areas in the account. That is a starting point for the management fee. It is not a quote for ad spend, and it is not a cost per enquiry.

What's the difference between this and SEO for dentists?+

This page is paid search. You pay when someone clicks, and the account is split by treatment and limited to a radius around the practice. SEO for dentists, at /seo-for-dentists, is the unpaid side: the Google Business Profile and the pages that can be found without an ad. A practice can need both. They are not the same work.
